Metabolism & Perimenopause

Your body is always under a certain degree of stress, but in perimenopause and menopause your cortisol (stress hormone) sky rockets! High levels of cortisol leave us in a constant state of "fight or flight", which is the biggest villain keeping you from feeling your best.  It’s time to learn more about how your body works and get started on the road to your revitalized self.

In episode 161 of The Well Podcast, we welcome Stephanie Fusnik to chat about metabolism, perimenopause, hormones, weight loss, nutrition and how it all works together to help us reach our wellness goals.  Stephanie has a lengthy background to support her knowledge on this topic.  She has been in the health and fitness field since 2011 as a personal trainer, exercise therapist, neurokinetic and manual osteopathic therapist and nutrition coach. She is the CEO of VitalityOET which is a women’s health, fitness and nutrition company that focuses predominantly on women’s hormones particularly as they start their journey through perimenopause and onwards. Her mission is to teach women about how their bodies change during this period of their life so that they can finally reach their health and fitness goals, feel in control and at home in their body again, live a life full of vitality, and really understand how to take care of their new body.
